Cupertino (USA)
Copertino(Italy) and Cupertino(California) are sister-cities since 24 July 1963. This ancient partnership was ratified by the Cupertino Major and Fernando Verdesca, Major of Copertino and my great-uncle. Councillor in that period was also Amalia Cordella, my great-aunt too. City twinning is chance of cultural, sportive, commercial and historic exchange between different countries, but in this long period, for many reason, not many relationship was arranged.
I'm really proud of my relatives efforts, trust firmly on the exchanging of points of view among different countries people and, in my small way, I'd like to contribute to a “new deal” of relationship.
For this reason i gladly decided to give hospitality to all Cupertino citizens completely free, for all the period of their stay. This is my strictly personal pleasure to travel staying at home.
